CHRISTIAN LEE HUTSON AFTER HOURS

Acclaimed California-based musician Christian Lee Hutson has released his latest lyrically captivating track in the form of ‘After Hours’. It’s a sparkling track that centres on the gentle pluck of acoustic guitar, supported by soft, shimmering synths performed by Grammy-nominated Shahzad Ismaily. Lyrically, Hutson is singing from a condominium in a corporatized Heaven to the woman he misses back on Earth. On the inspiration behind his upcoming album, which is named after a tiny town called Paradise with a population of just ten people, he says: “When I was a kid, my dad used to take me up there, mostly because of the novelty of the town limits sign, but also because it was so quiet and peaceful. For years, he would say that if life ever got too crazy, we could go up there and start living our real lives; be the people we were always meant to be.” ‘After Hours’ is taken from the upcoming album, Paradise Pop. 10, which drops on September 27th, 2024, via ANTI-. -Dan Peeke.
